PHILIPPINE CONSUL GENERAL IN SAN FRANCISCO CALLS ON SINGAPOREAN CONSUL GENERAL

Newly arrived Consul General of the Philippines in San Francisco Neil Frank R. Ferrer called on Consul General of Singapore in San Francisco William Chik Kam Weng on 24 February 2021 virtually via Zoom.
Consul General Chik extended a warm welcome to Consul General Ferrer and looked forward to closer interactions in the future. They discussed and shared updates concerning their consulates’ operations and the COVID-19 situation as it affected their respective nationals. They also expressed hope that once the pandemic is controlled, the ASEAN Consulates in San Francisco could safely interact and gather.
Consul General Ferrer remarked, “Noting the close relationship between the Philippines and Singapore as ASEAN neighbors,the Philippine and Singaporean Consulates General in San Francisco shall continue collaborations and sharing of best practices in order to better serve our respective nationals.” /END
