Consul General Arnel G. Talisayon received San Francisco Filipino American Chamber of Commerce (SFFACC) President Shan Serran, SFFACC Secretary Lorna Lardizabal Dietz, and SFFACC Chairman Jose Pecho during a meeting at the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco on 22 September 2026 to discuss opportunities to support Filipino and Filipino American entrepreneurs and strengthen business linkages between the Philippines and the Bay Area. The meeting was also attended by Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali, Economic Assistant Danica Vismonte, and Ms. Rosalie Say of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center–Silicon Valley.
Discussions focused on expanding entrepreneurs’ access to capital, preparing businesses for investor engagements, and connecting Philippine enterprises with potential Bay Area partners. The Consulate welcomed SFFACC’s interest in advancing these efforts and emphasized the value of targeted business matching to support entrepreneurship and investment opportunities.
