Newly arrived Consul General of the Philippines in San Francisco Neil Frank R. Ferrer  called on Daly City Mayor Juslyn Manalo virtually via Zoom on 10 February 2021.

Mayor Manalo was reelected to the Daly City Board of Supervisors in November 2020 and was appointed as Mayor the following month.  This is her second term as Mayor.

Mayor Manalo extended a warm welcome to Consul General Ferrer upon his arrival in San Francisco.  Both of them looked forward to continued close cooperation and engagement.  They recognized the valuable contributions of the Filipino-American community in Daly City, especially at this time of pandemic.

Consul General Ferrer remarked during the call that, “with Daly City having one of the highest concentration of Filipinos in the United States, I look forward to an active and vibrant engagement with the Daly City government under the leadership of Mayor Juslyn Manalo, especially in the promotion of Philippine culture and heritage and the welfare of the Filipino American constituents of Daly City.” / END
