Consul General Ferrer  Leads Oathtaking of New Officers of  IBP California During Its 26th Anniversary Celebration

Consul General Neil Ferrer leads the oathtaking of the new set officers of the IBP California Chapter for 2023-2025.

AMERICAN CANYON, CALIFORNIA – Philippine Consul General in San Francisco Neil Frank Ferrer led the oathtaking of the new set of officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) California Chapter for 2023-2025 during IBP California’s 26th Anniversary Celebration held on 24 September 2023 at the Eagle Vines Golf Club.

In his remarks, Consul General Ferrer congratulated the California Chapter of the IBP on its 26th anniversary. He also underscored the San Francisco PCG’s partnership with IBP especially in the latter’s continued provision of free legal assistance services through the monthly legal aid clinic held in support of the Consulate General’s Assistance-to-Nationals mandate. Since resuming the monthly free legal assistance in July after the pandemic, around 100 clients have availed of the free legal assistance.

Honorable Judge Benjamin Reyes II of the Superior Court of Contra Costa County, California, who is of Filipino descent, delivered the keynote address during the event.

Consul General Ferrer was joined by Mrs. Miriam Ferrer, Deputy Consul General Raquel R. Solano, Consul Jed Llona, Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, and Vice Consul Adrian Baccay.  END
