Additional Appointments for Passport and Dual Citizenship Applications

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco would like to inform the public that it will be opening additional appointment slots for Passport and Dual Citizenship applications starting 03 March 2021. To book an appointment, please check the Consulate’s website:

https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/[email protected]/bookings/ starting 02 March 2021.

Appointment slots will be made available on a daily basis in accordance with the need to ensure that the Consulate’s operational capacity is compliant with relevant state and local health and safety requirements. The Consulate is open Mondays through Fridays, except on holidays.

In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, applications for consular services are strictly by appointment only. The Consulate does not accept walk-in applicants, except those with emergencies. Social distancing and use of face covering are required while inside the building. Those with emergencies are advised to e-mail [email protected].

Please note that applications for civil registry (e.g. Report of Birth/Marriage/Death) and visa may be done by mail. For notarization of documents, you may secure the services of any notary public nearest your place of residence, and then apply for an Apostille Certificate from the designated state authorities, i.e. the Office of the Secretary of State, or the Office of the Lieutenant Governor (for the states of Alaska and Utah). Once notarized and apostilled, the documents may already be used in the Philippines, without need of authentication by the Philippine Consulate General.
