Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco Participates in OFM-San Francisco’s Emergency Preparedness Workshop for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

San Francisco, 04 May 2026 — The Philippine Consulate in San Francisco participated in the 2026 Foreign Mission Emergency Management Workshop organized by the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Foreign Missions (OFM) in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The workshop aimed to strengthen coordination, communication, and operational readiness among foreign missions and local, state, and federal agencies to ensure public safety during the tournament. Discussions focused on emergency response protocols, including mass casualty incident management, unified command structures, and interagency coordination.
