Consul General Talisayon Welcomes Collaboration with the Filipino American Community

San Francisco, California – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted the Kumustahan sa Konsulado on 24 April 2026 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center.

In his speech, Consul General Arnel G. Talisayon expressed his appreciation for the Filipino American community for their support and active engagement with the Consulate.  “Your continued trust, support, and partnership enable us to better fulfill our mandate—not only in delivering consular services, but also in promoting the interests of the Philippines and fostering a strong sense of connection among Filipinos abroad,” Consul General Talisayon said.

He added, “A core and very important part of our work is the provision of consular services, assistance to nationals, and overseas registration and voting. I wish to emphasize that the Philippine Consulate provides services to all Filipino citizens, regardless of their status in the U.S.. We are also transparent, while protecting the identities of the people we serve in line with data privacy laws.”

Consul General Talisayon reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to improving accessible and transparent consular services through innovation, while also strengthening cultural diplomacy to promote Filipino heritage and identity globally.END
