SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – California Chapter (IBP-California) successfully conducted the monthly Free Legal Aid Clinic on 10 April 2026 at the Sentro Rizal, Philippine Center. A total of fifteen (15) Filipino nationals/clients availed of free legal services from seven (7) IBP volunteer lawyers.

During the legal consultations, the clients received expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including immigration (U.S. citizenship, petitions, removal proceedings), property matters (sale, transfer, dispute, inheritance, probate in the Philippines), and family law (divorce, annulment, adoption).

The free legal aid clinic is a regular activity at the Consulate, held every first Friday of each month or the succeeding Friday in case of holidays.

Consul General Arnel G. Talisayon expressed thanks to the IBP-California for the meaningful partnership, which has regularly provided assistance to community members in need of legal guidance and advice. END
