Updated Guidelines on Entry into the Philippines – 16 April 2021

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ENTRY OF FOREIGN NATIONALS INTO THE PHILIPPINES EXTENDED UNTIL 30 April 2021

The public is advised that the temporary suspension of entry of FOREIGN NATIONALS into the Philippines is extended until 30 APRIL 2021, based on the Revised Guidelines issued by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration pursuant to Resolution Number 110 dated 15 April 2021 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases, which earlier suspended the entry of foreign nationals from 22 March to 21 April 2021.

All Filipino citizens whether returning Overseas Filipinos or Overseas Filipino Workers shall be allowed entry to the Philippines.

The temporary suspension coves foreign nationals, except the following:

1. Diplomats and members of international organizations, and their dependents, provided they hold a valid 9(e) visa or 47 (a)(2) visa.
2. Foreign nationals involved in medical repatriation duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affair or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, provided that they have a valid visa at the time of entry.
3. Foreign seafarers provided that they hold a 9(c) crew list visa.
4. Foreign parents, spouses and children of Filipino citizens traveling with them, provided they have valid visas at the time of entry.
5. Emergency, humanitarian, and other analogous cases approved by the Chairperson of the National Task Force Against COVID-19 or his duly authorized representative, provided the foreign nationals have valid visas at the time of entry.

All those qualified to enter the Philippines at this time shall still be subject to the arrival quota set by the Department of Transportation.

All arriving international passengers shall continue to be subject to the existing immigration, quarantine and PCR testing regulations.
