ARNEL G. TALISAYON

Arnel G. Talisayon is a career diplomat with over two decades of experience in the Philippine Foreign Service.

He joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in September 2003 and has since held various diplomatic and consular posts. He was assigned to the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, Republic of Korea from 2005 to 2012, where he served as the Third Secretary and Vice Consul, and later as the Second Secretary and Consul.

He was posted to the Philippine Mission to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva, Switzerland in 2014, ending his tour of duty in 2020 as the Minister and Consul General. Most recently, he was with the Philippine Embassy in Beijing, China as the Deputy Chief of Mission.

At the Department’s home office, Consul General Talisayon has served in several offices, including the Office of ASEAN Affairs, the Office of Consular Affairs, and the Office of Civilian Security.

Consul General Talisayon assumed his post at the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco in April 2026.
