Guidelines on Entry into the Philippines – 17 February 2021

Pursuant to Inter-Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution Nos. 97 and 98, series of 2021, the following shall be allowed entry into the Philippines provided that they secure the appropriate visas, unless they are themselves qualified under the Balikbayan Program:

  1. Foreign spouses, minor children, and/or children with special needs, regardless of age, who are joining a Filipino spouse and/or parent in the Philippines;
  2. Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs regardless of age, who are joining the Filipino child in the Philippines;
  3. Foreign Government and International Organization officials accredited to the Philippines; and
  4. Seafarers boarding or joining vessels in the Philippines.

Holders of valid and existing immigrant and non-immigrant visas are advised to check with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (website: mmigration.gov.ph/ email: [email protected] or [email protected]) to determine whether they are eligible to return to the country at this time and for any additional entry requirements.

Please note that the entry of all qualified foreign nationals shall be subject to the regulations issued by the IATF and the Bureau of Immigration.
