Philippine Medical Society of Northern California Officers Call on Consul General Neil Ferrer

Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer received today at the Consulate General in San Francisco Philippine Medical Society of Northern California (PMSNC) President Dr. Thad Padua, corresponding secretary and head of PMSNC outreach missions Dr. Rosemarie Padua, and Board Member Mrs. Bernadette Roco and discussed possible cooperative activities between the PMSNC and the Consulate General.

Consul General Ferrer was joined by Deputy Consul General Raquel Solano, Consul Dominic Xavier Imperial, Consul Vanessa Bago-Llona and Cultural Officer Ethel May Castillo.

PMSNC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization run by volunteer Filipino medical practitioners from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. It was founded in 1972 as a social organization to encourage fellowship and philanthropy among medical practitioners. Prior to the pandemic, PMSNC went on medical missions in the Philippines. It provides scholarships to deserving Filipino American medical students. END
