PHILIPPINE CONSULATE JOINS SF SCIENCE OFFICER NETWORK IN VISIT TO CHAN ZUCKERBERG IMAGING INSTITUTE
Redwood City, California – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco joined the San Francisco Science Officer Network’s visit to the Chan Zuckerberg Imaging Institute on 22 April 2025.
The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Matthias Haury, Acting Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer of CZII, who led the visit and shared the Institute’s pioneering work in imaging science and technology.
Guided by the belief that an integrated, systems-level understanding of biology is essential to curing, preventing, or managing all diseases by the end of the century, the Institute is focused on breakthrough research at the intersection of biology and artificial intelligence.
Consul Rowena Pangilinan – Daquipil, Economic Assistant Cristine Cia Clasara – Steylaerts, and Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali represented the Philippine Consulate in the event. END
