SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco participated in the 2025 San Francisco Fleet Week Senior Leaders Seminar held on 08–09 October 2025 at the Marines’ Memorial Club in San Francisco.
The Senior Leaders Seminar is Fleet Week’s premier forum convening top military and civilian leaders to discuss pressing issues on national security, defense readiness, and disaster response.
This year’s Senior Leaders Seminar highlighted cooperation, innovation, and leadership as key pillars in strengthening the resilience of the international maritime industry amid evolving global challenges.
The discussions in the two-day seminar focused on strategies to revitalize maritime and naval cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, rebuilding the United States’ shipbuilding capacity through the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics, and capacitating the workforce in the maritime industry. The seminar highlighted the importance of collaboration and partnerships among allies and leaders in both the government and private sector in revitalizing the maritime industry. END
