Philippine Consulate in San Francisco Conducts an Echo Training on Overseas Voter Registration Updates

PHILIPPINE CONSULATE IN SAN FRANCISCO CONDUCTS AN ECHO TRAINING ON OVERSEAS VOTER REGISTRATION UPDATES

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – On 14 November 2025, the Philippine Consulate in San Francisco conducted an echo-training of the Regional Training on the Continuing Overseas Voter Registration organized by the Philippine Commission on Elections and hosted by the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu from 28-30 October 2025 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The echo training was facilitated by the Consulate’s representatives, Consul Marc Benigno, Vice Consul Hannah Eloisse Go, and Political Assistant Lalaine Bacha who participated in the training in Honolulu. During the echo-training, updates to the overseas voter registration process, system enhancements to the overseas voting registration platform, procedural improvements and streamlined record management systems were cascaded to Consulate personnel responsible for implementing overseas voter (OV) registration services.

The training emphasized the Consulate’s commitment to ensuring efficient, transparent, and voter-friendly overseas voter registration services during the continuing registration period for the upcoming 2028 National Elections.

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco encourages all eligible Filipinos in its jurisdiction to register early and participate actively in the democratic process.
