Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco Conducts Consular Outreach Mission in Mill Creek, Washington

PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN SAN FRANCISCO CONDUCTS CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSION IN MILL CREEK, WASHINGTON

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco organized a Consular Outreach Mission in Mill Creek, Washington from October 7 to 11, 2022 at the Mill Creek City Hall North, 15720 Main Street, Mill Creek, Washington, providing a total of 1,836 services.

The consular outreach afforded Filipinos and Filipino Americans passport and dual citizenship services without having to travel to San Francisco.  Applicants from Washington and other states, including Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, among others, availed of consular services during the outreach.

The outreach was conducted with the support of the Mill Creek City Government, which offered the use of one of its city hall buildings as the venue.  On 06 October 2022, the City Council of Mill Creek held a welcome reception for the visiting Consulate team.

It was also held in partnership with the Fil Am Resources for Educational Advancement for Culture and Technology (Fil Am React), the IDIC Filipino Senior & Family Services, the Seattle Mabuhay Lions Club, the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, and the Coalition of Filipino American Organizations of Washington.

Washington State Senator and former Washington House Speaker John Lovick (D-WA 44th Legislative District), Washington State Representative April Berg (D-WA 44th Legislative District), and Mill Creek City Councilmember Melissa Duque visited and expressed appreciation for the Consulate’s conduct of the outreach for the Filipino residents in their jurisdiction.

The outreach is the 7th mission conducted by the Consulate in 2022. It will conduct its final outreach for the year in Reno, Nevada in November.
