Philippine Consulate Attends Global Startup Showcase at Plug and Play Silicon Valley May Summit 2026

SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco attended the Global Startup Showcase held on 19 May 2026 at the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California, as part of the Plug and Play Silicon Valley May Summit 2026.

A panel discussion featuring representatives from Startup Portugal, Nord Security, and SBI Holdings USA highlighted the importance of adaptability, strong networks, and product-market fit for startups scaling internationally and entering the U.S. market. Participating startups from Azerbaijan, Canada, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Portugal, South Korea, and other countries presented innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, healthcare, fintech, sustainability, digital payments, and enterprise technology, including AI-powered legal platforms, voice AI infrastructure, surgical augmented reality systems, and sustainable recycling technologies.

The event concluded with the presentation of Startup Awards recognizing outstanding startups including Oasis, Vericasa, and Glacies for their innovative solutions, strong pitches, and growth potential.
