SACRAMENTO, California – Philippine Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer met with California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber) Vice President for International Affairs, Ms. Susan Stirling on 23 May 2022.
Ms. Stirling discussed current issues affecting California’s economy and the business community, as well as their related advocacies, and work with the California state government, including the State Legislature.
Consul General Ferrer underscored the need for expanded trade and economic engagements between California and ASEAN, and the Philippines in particular, in light of the recently concluded U.S. ASEAN Special Summit. CalChamber (www.calchamber.com) is the largest business advocacy group in California, which is home to 2 million people of Filipino ancestry.
