PH Consulates in SF Holds Pre-Departure Briefing and Reception for 2024 VIP Tour Participants

PH CONSULATE IN SF HOLDS PRE-DEPARTURE BRIEFING AND RECEPTION FOR 2024 VIP TOUR PARTICIPANTS

SAN FRANCISCO, USA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco together with the Philippine Department of Tourism Office in San Francisco hosted its annual send-off reception and pre-departure briefing for the 2024 Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour participants under its consular jurisdiction on 3 July 2024 at the Sentro Rizal of the Philippine Center in San Francisco. 

A total of 54 participants from the Consulate’s jurisdiction registered for this year’s VIP tour, which will travel to Manila, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Bukidnon and Iligan. 

Consul General Neil Ferrer warmly welcomed both in-person and online attendees to the send-off and pre-departure briefing.

“As we prepare for the VIP Tour this year, I encourage you to immerse yourselves in each location, engage with the locals, relax and enjoy the tour. Let us take the time to learn, appreciate, and enjoy the beauty of our homeland,” Consul General Ferrer said. 

“I hope that the VIP Tour will remind us of all the things that we love about the Philippines,” he added.

Tourism Director Soleil Tropicales and Rajah Tours Sales Director Michael Kipping presented the tour itinerary and provided valuable information and insights about the tour. END
