PH Consulate to Conduct Consular Services in Juneau and Fairbanks

PH CONSULATE TO CONDUCT CONSULAR OUTREACH SERVICES IN JUNEAU AND FAIRBANKS
5 July 2021

San Francisco- The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco will hold consular outreach services on 8-9 July 2021 at the Centennial Hall located along Egan Drive, Juneau and on 11-12 July 2021 at the Civic Center, Pioneer Park, Fairbanks, in Alaska.

A 10-member team led by Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer will visit these two cities in Alaska to provide consular services to Filipino-American communities in said areas.

Consular services to be provided will include passport, dual citizenship, civil registry, legal and notarial services.

Applicants are advised to bring with them their appointment confirmation, duly accomplished application forms, the required documents, and the corresponding payment for the services they seek.   For a complete list of guidelines and requirements, please check the Consulate’s website at pcgsanfrancisco.org.

For their safety and protection, applicants are also required to wear face coverings at all times while inside the venue of the outreach missions, observe social distancing, and use hand sanitizers to disinfect themselves.

The consular outreach in Juneau will be the first to be undertaken by the Consulate in Alaska this year, with Fairbanks being next in the Consulate’s schedule.  Outreach services are also expected to be held in Anchorage next month.

Early this month, a similar outreach was held in Denver, the first to be held by the Consulate since the pandemic began.

The consular outreach program of the Consulate seeks to bring the services of the Consulate closer to the Filipino American communities in its areas of jurisdiction, which include 10 states in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. It is aimed at addressing the consular needs of those residing in distant areas and are unable to travel to San Francisco to obtain the services that they need. –END
