PH CONSULATE SUPPORTS PHILIPPINE BOOTH AT UC BERKELEY I-HOUSE’S INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL FESTIVAL

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco and its partner government agencies, the Philippine Trade & Investment Center and the Philippine Department of Tourism Office, provided support to the Philippine booth at the 2025 International Cultural Festival (ICF) of the University of California (UC) Berkeley’s International House. Held on 26 April 2025, it marked the first time the Consulate has taken part in the event in more than 10 years.

The Philippine booth, the lone participant from Southeast Asia, offered free samples of popular Philippine snacks that are available in the United States. The Consulate complemented the booth by providing IEC materials on Philippine trade and tourism, as well as flyers on the ongoing 2025 Filipino Food Crawl – Bay Area and the upcoming 2025 Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour.

The 2025 ICF is a free event that featured booths from 25 countries representing the nationalities of the residents of the International House, UC Berkeley’s dormitory for international students. (San Francisco PCG photos)
