PH CONSULATE SUPPORTS CHOW FUN, AN ASIAN FOOD CRAWL AT SAN FRANCISCO’S EXCELSIOR AND OMI NEIGHBORHOODS

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco—represented by Vice Consul Adrian Baccay—attended the launch of the second annual Chow Fun, a food crawl of Asian American and Pacific Islander-owned restaurants, cafés and bars at San Francisco’s Excelsior and OMI (Ocean View-Merced Heights-Ingleside) neighborhoods.
Organized by San Francisco Entertainment Commissioner and Filipino American Arts Exposition President Al Perez in line with AAPI Heritage Month, this year’s Chow Fun features 39 AAPI businesses—including Filipino establishments 7 Mile House Sports Bar & Grill, Baby’s Eatery & Palabok, Excelsior Coffee, and Turo Restaurant.
