PH CONSULATE RECEIVES EDUKSINE CEO AND FOUNDER

Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Neil Frank Ferrer, together with Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, PTIC-Silicon Valley Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali, and Philippine Department of Tourism – San Francisco Director Soleil Tropicales received Ms. Karen Jane Salutan-Krukover, CEO and Founder of EdukSine, on 24 October 2024 at the Philippine Center.
With the newly-launched EdukSine USA, Ms. Salutan-Krukover, sought the Consulate’s support in creating linkages with the Filipino-American communities, local independent filmmakers and other stakeholders under its jurisdiction.
EdukSine, is a streaming platform for independent films launched on 13 August 2022, which aims to connect viewers even in remote areas to access educational and socially-relevant independent Filipino films while also supporting independent Filipino filmmakers to have a wider audience in order to help Filipino film producers, directors, actors, and film marketers.
