PH CONSULATE JOINS THE MEMORIAL DAY COMMEMORATION AT USS SAN FRANCISCO MEMORIAL

The Philippine Consulate, headed by Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer, joined the USS San Francisco Memorial Foundation in its annual commemoration and remembrance of those who perished in World War II (San Francisco PCG photo)

Consul General Neil Ferrer graced the annual U.S. Memorial Day event at the USS San Francisco Memorial on 25 May 2025. In his remarks, he recognized the role that the USS San Francisco played during the Allied campaign to liberate the Philippines during the Second World War and the enduring alliance between the Philippines and the U.S..

In honor and remembrance of those who perished during the war, a roll call, a bell ceremony, and a wreath-laying ceremony were also held.
