San Francisco, California, U.S.A. – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, represented by Deputy Consul General Maria Paz Cortes, Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, and Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Silicon Valley (PTIC-SV) Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali, organized a virtual briefing on the 2025 IFEX Philippines on 27 February 2025 for PH Honorary Consuls under its jurisdiction to help sustain the campaign to invite more buyers and exhibitors for this major event.

Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) Department Manager Rowena Mendoza shared that the 2025 IFEX will be held on 22-24 May 2025 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. It is the country’s biggest business-to-business and export-oriented international trade show for food, beverage, and ingredients. This year will be its 18th edition, making it the longest-running food-sourcing show in the Philippines, where the biggest and most trusted brands converge.

Consul Donna Lavigne (Colorado), Consul Enrico Tadeo (Oregon), and Consul Evelyn Abello (Alaska) provided their insights and inputs, and expressed that they will share the information to their contacts as part of their economic diplomacy mandate. END
