PH CONSULATE IN SAN FRANCISCO HOSTS LEARNING SESSION ON GCASH OVERSEAS
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco hosted a presentation on GCash Overseas by Ms. Sofia Beatrice Daez from GCash’s Marketing Team on 02 December 2024 at the Philippine Center.
In her presentation, Ms. Daez shared that eight out of ten Filipinos in the Philippines have GCash accounts. Filipinos rely on GCash on a daily basis, whether in paying bills or simply transferring funds between loved ones. With the success of GCash in the Philippines, the company has launched GCash overseas in order to empower Filipinos abroad in managing their financial health and well-being as it enables Filipinos to create and access GCash accounts with their international mobile numbers.
Since its launch in 2004, GCash has become the number one and largest finance mobile application in the Philippines.
