PH CONSULATE IN SAN FRANCISCO CONDUCTS CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSION IN MILL CREEK, WASHINGTON
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco organized a Consular Outreach Mission in Mill Creek, Washington on 28 – 30 July 2023 at the Mill Creek City Hall providing a total of 1,204 services.
The consular outreach afforded Filipinos and Filipino Americans passport and dual citizenship services, as well as registration for overseas voting without having to travel to San Francisco. Those who availed of the services are residents of Washington and other states, including Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and California.
The outreach was conducted with the support of the City of Mill Creek, which offered the use of the Community Room at the City Hall as the outreach venue.
On 27 July 2023, a Meet and Greet event was organized and held before the consular outreach. During the reception, Mill Creek City Mayor Brian Holtzclaw and Washington’s 44th Legislative District Senator John Lovick thanked the visiting Consulate team for providing consular services to their constituents.
Representatives of Washington Governor Jay Inslee, Senator Patty Murray, and Washington’s 7th District Rep. Pramila Jayapal also delivered messages of support.
On behalf of the Philippine Consulate General, Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil presented Certificates of Appreciation to Mill Creek City Mayor Brian Holtzclaw and Senator John Lovick. In her speech, she also thanked other officials present, as well as community partners and supporters, including various Filipino-American community groups, for helping the Consulate organize the outreach.
