PH CONSULATE IN SAN FRANCISCO AND PH NURSES ASSOCIATION OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA PARTNER TO PROMOTE HEART HEALTH AND DIABETES AWARENESS

The Health Education Lecture on Heart Health and Diabetes Awareness, organized by the Philippine Consulate General and the Philippine Nurses Association of Northern California (PNANC), highlighted the importance of cardiovascular health and diabetes prevention among the Filipino community. The session conducted on 28 February 2025 emphasized proactive healthcare through lifestyle changes, early detection, and emergency response training. Participants engaged in discussions on heart health, diabetes awareness, and CPR techniques, reinforcing the Consulate and PNANC’s commitment to the well-being of Filipinos in its jurisdiction.

Philippine Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer meets with PNANC Sacramento Chapter team members and PNAC3 President Jojo Melendres to discuss potential partnerships on health initiatives benefiting Filipinos in Northern California. The collaboration seeks to expand health education programs within the Consulate’s jurisdiction.
