PH Consulate Hosts Talk on “Philippine Branding, Nation Branding and Philippine Soft Power”

PH CONSULATE HOSTS TALK ON “PHILIPPINE BRANDING, NATION BRANDING AND PHILIPPINE SOFT POWER”

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco hosted a talk by Dr. Corinne Romabiles on Philippine branding, nation branding, and Philippine soft power, held at Sentro Rizal of the Philippine Center in San Francisco on 10 January 2025.

The talk touched on important concepts and frameworks related to nation branding and soft power projection. For Dr. Romabiles, the Philippines can best brand itself around the promotion of “love for land and people,” maximizing the potentials of the country’s natural and human resources. In taking pride in being a Filipino, she encouraged the attendees “to help fellow Filipinos find meaning and greatness in their lives.”

Dr. Romabiles is a graduate of the University of the Philippines’ Philippine Studies Program and an adjunct faculty member of the Asian Institute of Management. (San Francisco PCG photos)
