PH CONSULATE EXPRESSES SUPPORT FOR DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY’S INTERNATIONALIZATION INITIATIVES
Philippine Consul General in San Francisco Neil Ferrer welcomed the officials of De La Salle University (DLSU), led by DLSU President Br. Bernard Oca FSC, during their call at the Philippine Center on 19 March 2025.
Consul General Ferrer lauded DLSU’s leadership in STEM & business education and expressed openness in working with the University in its internationalization efforts, particularly in engaging higher education institutions as well as Silicon Valley companies and startup incubators & accelerators. The DLSU delegation shared that the University is now expanding its scholarship program to include international students, including those from the U.S.
Joining President Oca were DLSU Vice President for External Relations and Internationalization Dr. Anthony Shun Fung Chiu, DLSU Vice President for Research and Innovation Dr. Raymond Girard Tan, and DLSU alumnus Romi Beza.
