PH CONSULATE CONGRATULATES PILIPINO BAYANIHAN RESOURCE CENTER OF DALY CITY ON ITS 35TH ANNIVERSARY
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, represented by Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil and Vice Consul Adrian Baccay, attended the 35th anniversary celebration of the Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Center (PBRC), held at the Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport in South San Francisco, California on 28 September 2024.
In her remarks, Consul Pangilinan-Daquipil congratulated the PBRC on its anniversary and thanked the Fil-Am organization for its service, which includes educational programs, health services, and legal assistance.
Founded in 1989, the PBRC is a community-based non-profit that serves the Fil-Am Community in Daly City and the greater San Mateo County. The group was recently recognized as the 2024 Nonprofit of the Year for California Assembly District 19. The Consulate has been the PBRC’s partner in many of its initiatives, including the Daly City Hall flag-raising for Philippine Independence Day. (San Francisco PCG photos)
