PH Consulate Conducts Special Saturday Consular Services in Celebration of National Women’s Month

SAN FRANCISCO, USA – In observance of National Women’s Month and International Women’s Day, the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted an extended consular services day called “Special Saturday Services” on 7 March 2026, providing additional access to essential government services for members of the Filipino community.

The initiative enabled clients to conveniently avail of consular services without having to take leave from work or disrupt weekday obligations, making services more accessible to working individuals, caregivers, and families.

A total of 96 clients benefited from the initiative. Services provided included passport processing, dual citizenship applications, civil registry services, overseas voter registration, and legal/notarial services.

The Special Saturday Services activity forms part of the Consulate’s continuing efforts to provide accessible, responsive, and gender-sensitive public service, while supporting the goals of National Women’s Month and recognizing the contributions of Filipino women in the community. END
