DALY CITY, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate in San Francisco graced the first Legacy Filipino Martial Arts gathering in Daly City, California on 14 June 2025 in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day and the Legacy Filipino Martial Arts School’s anniversary.

Led by Mr. Joseph Bautista, owner and founder of the Legacy Filipino Martial Arts School, the members of Legacy FMA captivated the audience with a remarkable display of talent and skill. Beyond its rich cultural significance, Filipino martial arts also serve a practical purpose—equipping individuals with effective self-defense techniques that prepare them to protect themselves and others in emergency situations.

As part of the program, the Parangal Dance Company gave performances showcasing traditional Filipino indigenous dances.
