As part of its outreach to the more than 39,000 registered overseas voters under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, Consul General Neil Ferrer hosted a kapihan (coffee roundtable) with the members of the Filipino Community media at Sentro Rizal of the Philippine Center in San Francisco on 14 April 2025.

During the media kapihan, Consul General Ferrer shared updates on the ongoing rollout of the first-ever online voting of U.S.-based overseas voters. He requested the media’s assistance to increase voter turnout, and in the dissemination of overseas voting advisories from Post, particularly on pre-voting enrollment and online voting.

“We strongly encourage our kababayan to take part in the ongoing overseas voting. Our vote is important, it is a vote for our stronger and brighter future,” Consul General Ferrer remarked. (San Francisco PCG photos)
