PH CONSUL GENERAL IN SAN FRANCISCO EXPLORES COLLABORATIVE PROJECT WITH ASEAN PEOPLE’S ASSOCIATION FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Philippine Consul General in San Francisco Neil Ferrer welcomed Dato’ Nellsen Young—Founder and President of the ASEAN People’s Association Los Angeles, and Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MyUS Group of Companies—at the Romulo Hall of the Philippine Center in San Francisco on 24 February 2023.
Consul General Ferrer and Mr. Young discussed matters of mutual concern, including recent developments in the Philippines, and the promotion of ASEAN culture and the arts in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 2016, the ASEAN People’s Association is a non-profit organization that aims to become “the center place for Southeast Asians in the U.S. to come together and advance.”
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) currently comprises Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam. (San Francisco PCG photos)
