PCG San Francisco Meets with GCash International Representatives

The GCash representatives provided updates on their international operations, including the rollout of GCash Overseas, expanded support for international mobile numbers, and the introduction of virtual U.S. accounts that enable users to more seamlessly receive, hold, and convert remittances. They also outlined ongoing efforts to strengthen customer support in the United States and further enhance digital financial services for overseas users.

Discussions underscored the shared objective of advancing financial inclusion among Filipinos in the U.S., particularly freelancers and small entrepreneurs, and touched on cybersecurity safeguards, digital trust-building, and potential areas for collaboration with Filipino-owned businesses and startups.
