PCG SAN FRANCISCO CONDUCT ONSITE OUTREACH WITH SSS AND PNB

San Francisco, 09 December 2025 — The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, in partnership with the Social Security System (SSS) – Los Angeles Representative Office and the Philippine National Bank (PNB), successfully delivered a wide range of frontline services during a three-day outreach mission held on 05–07 December 2025 at Kalayaan Hall, Philippine Center.
Over the course of the mission, the SSS assisted a total of 244 clients and delivered 383 services, reflecting the strong and sustained demand for social security services among Filipinos in Northern California. PNB likewise provided essential financial services throughout the outreach. The PNB team facilitated the opening of 66 pension accounts, issuance of international ATM cards that enabled pensioners to conveniently withdraw their benefits from U.S. bank ATMs. As an accredited collecting partner, PNB also accepted SSS contributions and other related payments, helping Filipinos abroad maintain updated and active membership. PNB Global Remit was also present to give information to participants on how they can safely transfer funds from the US to the Philippines.
The mission drew pensioners, new registrants, and returning clients who had long awaited the opportunity to complete their SSS and PNB transactions locally. Many expressed appreciation for the timely and well-organized services provided by SSS, PNB, and Consulate personnel.
