PCG San Francisco Advances Employee Well-Being with Health and Wellness Initiative

SAN FRANCISCO – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a Health and Wellness Activity on 18 December 2025 as part of its continuing Mental Health Program and in compliance with Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 04, series of 2020.

The activity aimed to promote mental well-being, stress management, and overall health among Consulate personnel. In her message, Deputy Consul General Maria Paz G. Cortes emphasized that employee wellness is an essential component of effective and responsive consular service.

A guided session led by Ms. Emily Jackson of StretchLab Union Street introduced participants to practical stretching techniques designed to improve mobility, reduce physical tension, and support mental relaxation. The interactive session encouraged personnel to integrate wellness practices into their daily routines. The activity reaffirmed the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco’s commitment to fostering a supportive, healthy, and resilient work environment for its personnel. END
