MIRIAM COLLEGE DELEGATION CALLS ON CONSUL GENERAL FERRER

On 10 April 2025, a delegation from Miriam College paid a courtesy call on Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer. The delegation participated in the 74th Model UN for the Far West (MUNFW) Conference held on 11-15 April 2025, in Burlingame, California.
Ms. Mirma Tica-Ortiz, faculty member of Miriam College’s Department of International Studies, led the delegation, composed of the following students: Alessandra Sophia Magaway Leano, Gratianna Hann Danet Lim Francisco, Anna Katrina Juanitas, Khrissarah Charlize Medina Yap, and Zara Mae Julian Cubacub.

The students discussed their preparations and the comprehensive research they undertook for their participation in the 74th MUNFW Conference.
Joining Consul General Ferrer were Deputy Consul General Maria Paz Cortes, Vice Consul Glaiza Quarteros, Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali, and Political Assistant Lalaine Bacha. They shared the Consulate’s initiatives and engagement with the active Filipino Community in the Bay Area and encouraged the students to consider joining the foreign service.
