SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco held a Financial Literacy Seminar on 12 November 2025 at Sentro Rizal, Philippine Center, to provide personnel with practical tools for financial stability and long-term planning for its personnel. Licensed financial professionals Ms. Nina San Luis and Ms. Alicia Cruz led the seminar, discussing wealth building, debt management, proper protection, and long-term planning. Ms. Cruz shared her transformative experience of overcoming credit card debt and then improving her financial well-being, highlighting how disciplined saving and early investing helped her regain control of her finances.

Joining virtually from the Philippines, Mr. Joram Centurion of IMG emphasized building a solid financial foundation–starting with emergency funds, then protection, and finally investments. He introduced various investment options and explained how financial education and structured planning support long-term growth.

A brief Q&A allowed personnel to raise concerns and clarify strategies. The seminar concluded with thanks to the speakers and a reminder that financial literacy is a continuous, lifelong practice. END
