FILIPINO CHESS GRANDMASTER AND SPORTS LEGEND EUGENE TORRE CALLS ON CONSUL GENERAL FERRER
Consul General Neil Ferrer led the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco in welcoming Filipino chess grandmaster Eugene Torre during a courtesy call at the Philippine Center’s Romulo Hall on 8 October 2024. Joining Torre were his wife Maria Lina Torre, and Don Orozco and Yoliesil Pontino of the Bay Area-based Global Maharlika Foundation.
