CONSUL GENERAL NEIL FRANK FERRER RECEIVES MR. ROMEL ROMERO OF OJT CONNECT

Philippine Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer, accompanied by Consul Rowena Pangilinan- Daquipil and PTIC-SV Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali welcomed Mr. Romel Romero, San Diego-based CEO and Tech Founder of OJT Connect, and his wife Mary Jane, at the Philippine Center on 13 November 2024.
During the call, Mr. Romero introduced his latest venture, OJT Connect. OJT Connect is a free platform bridging students, new graduates, and aspiring individuals with local and international companies for internship opportunities and relevant work experiences.
He emphasized that OJT Connect’s mission is to assist students from rural areas in the Philippines where work opportunities are fewer and less diverse. He also emphasized that all internships are 100% remote, providing flexibility for Filipino students to work anywhere from the Philippines. END
