Consul General Neil Ferrer meets with Fil-Am Groups, Elected Officials and VFS Global in Consular Outreach Mission in Seattle

CONSUL GENERAL NEIL FERRER MEETS WITH FIL-AM GROUPS, ELECTED OFFICIALS AND VFS GLOBAL IN CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSION IN SEATTLE

SEATTLE, Washington, 21-24 July 2021 – Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer met with Filipino American community leaders and a few elected U.S. officials during its consular outreach mission in late July.

Consul General Ferrer met with Fil-Am community leaders in a meet-and-greet event at the International Drop-In Center at Beacon United Methodist Church in Seattle where he also met elected U.S. officials, including Washington State Representative John Lovick and Seattle Deputy Mayor Michael Fong.

He also met with the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, which is preparing for the 2022 Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce’s International Trade and Business Development Conference. The conference, titled, “Convergence, Technology, Convenience and Sustainability: Trends, Opportunities and Challenges,” is slated on 17-21 August 2022 in Seattle.

The Consul General also met with VFS Global to explore the possible expansion of passport renewal services in Seattle, in line with its existing agreement with the Department. END
