Consul General Neil Ferrer Delivers Lecture at the California State University East Bay

CONSUL GENERAL NEIL FERRER DELIVERS LECTURE AT THE CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY EAST BAY

Consul General Neil Ferrer delivered a lecture titled “The Philippines and the United Nations” to students of the California State University East Bay in Hayward, California on 17 April 2024.

The Consul General was invited by the institution’s Political Science faculty Dr. Maria Ortuoste to provide professional insights into the world of international relations and the United Nations.

During the lecture, the Consul General imparted a comprehensive discourse on the Philippines’ engagements with the United Nations from being one of the founding member countries to advancing the country’s priorities in the multilateral forum.

The Consul General also had the opportunity to meet and greet the Filipino Americans enrolled in the class of Dr. Ortuoste. He complimented the students for being passionate about their course and encouraged them to pursue a career in international relations and foreign service.
