Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer met with Agmor Inc. president Kyle Lukes on 23 September 2021 to learn more about Agmor’s operations in the Philippines and how its innovative agricultural technology product could help the Philippine agricultural sector.

A Montana-based firm, Agmor, Inc. pioneered the development of NEB, an innovative agricultural input composed of plant root exudates, compounds naturally produced by plants that increase plant vigor, reduce disease, and improve nutrient uptake. Based on studies undertaken thus far, NEB technology is known to significantly increase rice production and can be scaled without reliance on farmer adoption.

Agmor Inc.’s agricultural product distributors in the Philippines- Enviro Scope Synergies, Inc. (ESSI) and Allied Botanical Corporation- plan to conduct of field trials in select areas in the Philippines to show and confirm the efficacy of the product.

The Consul General indicated the Consulate’s support in connecting Agmor Inc. with appropriate Philippine agricultural authorities to help raise awareness of the product and its potential in addressing the issue of food security in the Philippines. – END
