Consul General Ferrer Swears in the New Officers of the U.S. Ilocano National Association (USINA)

CONSUL GENERAL FERRER SWEARS IN THE NEW OFFICERS OF THE U.S. ILOCANO NATIONAL ASSOCIATION (USINA)

Consul General Neil Ferrer led the induction of new officers of the U.S. Ilocano National Association (USINA) at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, California on 16 November 2024. He administered the oath of USINA’s new set of executive officers and board of directors for the term 2024-2026, led by its president Edison Domingo.

In his remarks, Consul General Ferrer thanked USINA for its involvement in the San Francisco visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in November 2023, and shared some updates on the investment pledges and partnerships that were secured during the visit. He also paid tribute to USINA founder and former president Vic Hermoso, who passed away this year.

USINA is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation founded in 1990 in San Jose, California. Its members hail not only from the Ilocos Region but also from other parts of Northern and Central Luzon. (San Francisco PCG photos)
