CONSUL GENERAL FERRER MEETS WITH U.S. PARTNER OF PHILIPPINE DATA CENTER DEVELOPER
SAN FRANCISCO, 19 April 2023 – Philippine Consul General Neil Ferrer met with Mr. Jon Paulsen, co-managing partner of CloudCenters, LLC, a data center development and advisory company. Mr. Paulsen is partnering with JJ Ynchausti Ventures, Inc. in building a data center in Malvar, Batangas, Philippines.
Called the YCO Manila Digital 1 data center, the project is a joint venture between JJ Ynchausti Ventures, Inc. and Cloud Centers, LLC. The project aims to serve the growing demand for cloud computing services and solutions by global companies.
Once completed, the YCO Manila Digital 1 data center will be the first carrier-neutral data center in the Philippines.
Consul General Ferrer thanked Mr. Paulsen for the updates on the new data center and noted opportunities for investments in the Philippines, particularly in the development of the country’s digital infrastructure. END
