CONSUL GENERAL FERRER MEETS WITH CALIFORNIA STATE REPRESENTATIVE ALEX LEE

Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Neil Frank R. Ferrer met with Assemblymember Alex Lee on 01 December 2023 at the Romulo Hall, Philippine Center to discuss possible collaboration and areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides expressed willingness to forge closer sub-national linkages and stronger relationship between California and the Philippines noting that a huge population of Filipino Americans reside in the Assemblymember’s district.
Assemblymember Lee represents California’s 24th District, which includes the Alameda County communities of Fremont, Newark, and Sunol; and the Santa Clara County communities of Milpitas and San Jose. He is the youngest Asian American ever elected in the State Legislature. He is also the youngest person elected in the State Legislature since World War II. END
