CONSUL GENERAL FERRER MEETS MONTANA GOVERNOR GIANFORTE

Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer met with Montana Governor Greg Gianforte at the state capitol in Helena on 23 September 2021 on the side of the consular outreach services being conducted by the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco for Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in Montana and surrounding areas.

During the meeting, Consul General Ferrer and Governor Gianforte discussed ways to enhance existing ties between the Philippines and Montana, including expanding their areas of collaboration. The two sides identified possible opportunities for growth and partnership in the areas of IT-BPM, healthcare, agricultural technology, trade, tourism, and labor. 

Consul General Ferrer extended an invitation for Governor Gianforte to visit the Philippines at an appropriate time in the future. The Governor warmly welcomed the invitation and committed to visit the country in due course.  

Consul General Ferrer was accompanied during the meeting by Deputy Consul General Raquel R. Solano and Bozeman residents Daisy and Ron Slowik, CEO and VP of Seachamp, Ltd., respectively. Seachamp, Ltd. is a manufacturing, exporting and importing firm with office in Montana. – END
