CONSUL GENERAL FERRER JOINS OVERSEAS RIZALIANS’ 2ND REUNION GALA
Consul General Neil Ferrer attended the Overseas Rizalians Gala Dinner Reception at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in South San Francisco, California on 20 April 2024.
The Overseas Rizalians is a newly-formed organization with members who consider Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte as their hometown. Members/guests from across the United States, including Canada, Singapore, and Sweden, attended the event. For this year, the Gala was hosted and chaired by Ms. Nilamar Reluya Racho who is from the San Francisco Bay Area.
In just two years, the Overseas Rizalians have funded several projects in their hometown, including a scholarship program to send financially-challenged students to college, renovation of restrooms of the churches in their hometown, projects for senior citizens, among others.
